BROWNFIELDS REDEVELOPMENT SEMINAR
Putnam, CT :: CME hosted a free seminar on Brownfields Redevelopment
for the northeastern Connecticut region. The event was the culmination of a collaboration with the Eastern Connecticut Resource Conservation &
Development Area, Inc. (RC&D), Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection and the United States Environmental Protection Agency. Speakers
from state and federal level agencies contributed to the workshop with all administration and marketing efforts provided by CME. Our collaboration also resulted in the development of the Northeast Connecticut Brownfields Coalition, a public/private partnership which is working toward productive reuse of the region's Brownfield sites.
