Corporate Citizenship

CME Associates, Inc., is committed to being a good citizen and neighbor in the community. We operate in a manner that is sustainable - economically, socially and environmentally - and in the best interests of long-term success of our clients and our employees.

Each year, CME and its employees donate thousands of dollars to local and national non-profit organizations. We also donate hundreds of hours serving on boards of directors, at local non-profits, and as volunteers supporting causes that improve the quality of life in our communities.

Members of our staff actively participate in:
The Last Green Valley, Eastern CT Resource Conservation & Development, Norwich Rotary Club, Putnam Rotary Club, William W. Backus Hospital Board of Directors (former member), Nichols College Business Advisory Council, Woodstock Historical Society, and the Woodstock Open Space Land Acquisition & Farmland Preservation Committee.

CME is dedicated to the preservation of agricultural land and "open space" through innovative design. We assist developers in treading lightly on the land and we support land preservation efforts in our community.

CME Co-Sponsors Watershed Clean Up

On Saturday, October 1, 2011, a team of twelve CME employees and family members partnered with student and faculty volunteers from Goodwin College to collect trash and debris washed up onto the shore of the Connecticut River in East Hartford after severe flooding resulting from Tropical Storm Irene in late August. The effort was coordinated as part of the 15th Annual Source to Sea Cleanup led by the Connecticut River Watershed Council.
