The Last Green Valley, Eastern CT Resource Conservation & Development, Norwich Rotary Club, Putnam Rotary Club, William W. Backus Hospital Board of Directors (former member), Nichols College Business Advisory Council, Woodstock Historical Society, and the Woodstock Open Space Land Acquisition & Farmland Preservation Committee.
CME is dedicated to the preservation of agricultural land and "open space" through innovative design. We assist developers in treading lightly on the land and we support land preservation efforts in our community.
CME Co-Sponsors Watershed Clean Up
On Saturday, October 1, 2011, a team of twelve CME employees and family members partnered with student and faculty volunteers from Goodwin College to collect trash and debris washed up onto the shore of the Connecticut River in East Hartford after severe flooding resulting from Tropical Storm Irene in late August. The effort was coordinated as part of the 15th Annual Source to Sea Cleanup led by the Connecticut River Watershed Council.
