The Construction Inspection and Administration group is dedicated to providing thorough and complete inspection services to our clients. Our inspectors routinely inspect projects administered and funded by all levels of government and are experts in
meeting the requirements of the federal and state governments in Connecticut, Rhode Island and Massachusetts.
This Group consists of engineers, inspectors, and construction professionals and they provide a variety of services to our municipal and private clients including:
- Inspection
- Materials Testing
- Administrative Services
- Public Relations
CONSTRUCTION INSPECTION: BRIDGE REPLACEMENT, PARK STREET
Manchester, CT :: CME was responsible for providing the design, specifications, construction documents, and construction services for this project. Inspection services included:
- Review shop drawings and proposed progress schedule,
- Assist contractor with checking all bench marks and working points,
- Schedule relocation of utility lines (power, gas, telephone, and water main) and coordinate between them,
- Inspecting construction (field measurement, and reporting),
- Performing concrete tests, and arranging for all material tests,
- Reviewing pay requisitions with contractor and submit to Town,
- Introduce construction orders for new items,
- Conducting bi-weekly site meetings and provide report of meetings,
- Arranging semi and final inspection meetings,
- Closing out the project, including response to headquarter's review and test deficiencies,
- Deliver project documents to Town
