CME's structural engineers perform engineering studies to evaluate load capacities of highway structures and bridges for use in permitting the transport of unusually large and heavy loads.

POWER PLANT TRANSFORMER SHIPMENT
Providence, RI :: CME has provided route surveys for several different heavy haul vehicles including loads as high as 1,000,000 pounds. CME studies different routes, coordinates with the appropriate transportation departments, and provides inspection and analysis of all structures crossed including steel and pre-stressed concrete bridges. One such project was recently performed for ETARCO Mammoet Eastern Ltd. CME surveyed the route and obtained necessary permits for the transport of a power plant transformer.
