Tilcon is a supplier of crushed stone, asphalt and concrete for the transportation and construction industry. Materials are quarried from sites throughout Connecticut. Excavation activities are strictly regulated by local, state and federal government.

Part of the process of quarrying is the phasing of portions of each site to allow for sections of the excavation site to be converted back to natural habitat and for permitting to be done. CME provides ongoing GPS surveying services to monitor the extent of excavation on site to determine compliance with phasing activities, and remediation efforts as swaths of land are undergoing transformation.
