As a part of our community planning work assisting the Town with economic development consulting, CME developed a promotional video to promote the town’s culture and opportunities for investment. CME worked collaboratively with members of the Town’s leadership to identify central themes and places that held emotional connections to the town’s people. The video used a blend of techniques to convey the appropriate balance of community, vibrance, and growth.
Our team developed the concept, prepared the photographs, and obtained the footage for the video. We provide various cuts and edits to the video for various platforms and purposes. We also worked with the town on strategies to promote the video.
CME developed a unique promotional video for the Town of Hebron, Connecticut that focuses on the Town’s cultural, commercial, and community assets as part of our Economic Development consulting work. Our creative team focused on curating a video by combining storyboarding and concept development with filming techniques to create an engaging storyline.
The video is being used to help showcase Hebron’s many offerings and amenities to developers, businesses and residents in a dynamic, visually appealing way using photos and drone footage. The video aims to present Hebron as a welcoming community that offers everything from good schools and great jobs to dining and entertainment, and it targeted toward people who are considering developing, living and working in Hebron.
“The video has been shown at a recent Hebron Business Networking Meeting, an Economic Development Commission meeting, a Board of Selectmen meeting and my last Planning and Zoning Commission meeting” said Mike O’Leary, Director of Planning and Development, Town of Hebron, CT. The reaction was universally positive with comments such as “I was blown away”, and “great professionally done video project”. “So, thank you and the rest of the staff that was involved in the project. The EDC members truly enjoyed working with you and the team in the planning meetings for the video”, said Mike O’Leary.
Within 5 days of the video being posted on the Hebron Facebook page, there were over 4,000 views and over 100 shares. Hebron’s population is approximately 9,600.
