Working as the Town Engineer, CME assists the town in developing their roadway improvement program. CME works with the Town Staff to develop an inventory and priority list of roadways that need drainage, paving, ADA, and other improvements and programs them over the funding cycle.
CME works with town administration and the community development staff to ensure funding is in place to cover the potential construction costs. CME then provides the design and construction oversight needed to continuously deliver a successful annual improvement program.
Our team then prepares the design plans and leads the coordination of the reconstruction and improvements of town roadways and sidewalks. CME oversees work to be done by utility companies and maintains a steady line of communication with Town offices during all phases of design and construction.
We provide comprehensive services for these projects including design of improvements to road, sidewalks and storm drainage; public information meetings, permitting and bidding assistance; and preparation of specifications, cost estimates and construction documents. CME also provided on-site construction inspection and administration services to maintain quality control and accurate record-keeping during construction.
