Project Summary

CME provides consulting services for systematic upgrades and maintenance of the facilities at the Woodstock Academy to help keep pace with increases in enrollment. Work has included design services for a mezzanine addition to the library, evaluation of historic structures on the campus, connections to expanded public utilities, and most recently a new recreation complex.
For this latest project, CME evaluated the existing undeveloped land to determine how it could best be used for additional recreational space.  The design concept included soccer, baseball, softball, and football fields, tennis courts, and expanded parking accommodations. CME also provided design for storage, team rooms, restrooms, concession, and a press-box.
The athletic facility project required local, state and federal permitting including review under the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA). CME also directed the implementation of the Mitigation Plan for restoration of a wet meadow habitat and provided construction inspection services during construction.
